Tom Morello Talks About His Bond with Canadian Fans Ahead of One-Man Show

Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave is taking his songs and stories on the road, in a one-man show called A Night of Stories and Music. For him, this is an opportunity to tell campfire-like stories to fans about who he is and how he became that person: musician, provocateur, and performer – through trials, triumphs, and everything in between.

Looking back at his 30-plus-year career, Morello has performed all over the world, but for him, Canada stands out as the most memorable. He says, “It’s one of my favourite places in the world to play, the Canadian audience has always been so incredibly supportive and responsive and such great rockers.”
That’s why it’s so important for him to bring his show to Canada, with multiple stops across the North. Just as key for him is creating an experience for his fans that he himself would enjoy. He says, “I really love hearing what people have to say about how it is that they’ve made the music that they make, who they are behind the guitars and the microphones, etc. and this show is definitely that.”
