Industry Build is an exciting initiative that will unite over 100 participants, including industry leaders from across Southern Alberta, to help build Habitat for Humanity homes in the Airdrie community from May 26 to May 30, 2025. Working alongside skilled construction professionals and passionate volunteers, teams will play a vital role in creating safe, affordable homes for hardworking families in need. Together, we’ll make a lasting impact by providing families with the opportunity to thrive in a home they can call their own.
Right now in Calgary, 1 in 5 families cannot afford their current housing. The same research says that more than four times the current supply of housing is needed to meet the demand. Since 1990, Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta has helped more than 385 families, impacting the lives of more than 1,150 children.
